2018 LA Market Week Dates
LA Market Week, also known as , is a trade event in which contemporary brands and showrooms debut their collections for the upcoming season. Along with the LA Fashion District’s permanent showrooms, various trade shows participate in market week throughout the year. For a full list of participating brands, see our , which is updated prior to each market week.

The event is hosted five times a year. The 2018 LA Market Week dates will be as follows:

  • January 15-18, Summer 2018
  • March 12-15, Fall 2018
  • June 18-21, Fall II/Holiday 2018
  • July 30-August 2, Holiday/Resort 2018
  • October 8-11, Spring 2019

Market week is a trade-only event. You must own or work for a licensed retail business to purchase wholesale. Buyer requirements are listed here. Additional trade shows including  and  are listed .

There are six main showroom buildings participating in LA Market Week – California Market Center, Cooper Design Space, The Gerry Building, The New Mart, The Lady Liberty Building, and Academy Awards Clothes Showroom Building. The buildings are located at 9th and Los Angeles Streets. Learn more about the buildings.

ABOUT L.A. MARKET WEEK OCTOBER 2017
The Spring 2018  will be held October 9th through October 12th. Designers and brands will debut their collections for the upcoming Spring season at the. Additionally, multiple trade shows showcasing temporary collections (designers that do not have permanent showrooms in the Fashion District) will also be showcasing collections.

PARTICIPATING BRANDS
Designer brands exhibiting during the Spring 2018 L.A. Market Week include women’s contemporary, juniors, menswear, kidswear, accessories, shoes, and home and gift. You can view a full list of participating brands and designers using the, which is updated prior to each market week.

REGISTRATION AND BUYER REQUIREMENTS
Market week is a trade-only event and buyers must be able to prove they have or are working for a licensed business.

Buyers will need to register at each building. At the Cooper Design Space, Gerry Building and The New Mart, buyers and retailers are asked to bring a business card. At the California Market Center (CMC), you must be able to provide the following credentials:

  • ONE of the following (copies are allowed): business license, seller’s permit, lease agreement, filing of fictitious business name (documents must be pertinent to the industry)
  • ONE of the following (per person): personalized business card, payroll stub, company credit card with buyer’s name

Registration is typically on-site although some trade shows and the CMC do offer.

LA Market Week June 2017, also known as the Fall II/Holiday 2017 , will take place June 5th through the 8th in the. During market week designers and brands, debut collections for the upcoming fall and holiday seasons and buyers are invited to view the new merchandise and place orders. LA Fashion Market is the West Coast’s premier destination for contemporary fashions, including apparel, accessories, and footwear. Various trade shows are hosted in the LA Fashion District during market week. Trade shows typically highlight established and up-and-coming designers that do not have permanent showrooms in the area. With thousands of brands participating in LA market week, this is the place for buyers to discover new brands and create new shopping experiences.
