  • Question
Is it proper to pray for friends and relations who have passed away and relatives who are still alive?

    Community Answer
The way I see it, it doesn't make sense to pray for someone who's dead. They've gone wherever they were supposed to go. No amount of prayer will change that. Praying for living friends and relatives is a wonderful thing to do, however. The more prayer the better! Remember, God hears prayers, whether he answers right away or not. Don't give up praying for people just because there aren't immediate results.
    Thanks!

  • The 20 mysteries of the Holy Rosary are each divided into groups of 5:

    • The third 5 are called the sorrowful mysteries, and they are meditated upon on Tuesdays and Fridays.
